At LVR Studios, we believe that home is more than just a backdrop—it’s a living, breathing character in a family’s story. So when actor, writer, and producer Simu Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Barbie, Kim’s Convenience, Arthur the King) and his partner, Allison, asked for our help in making their home more reflective of their personalities, we jumped at the opportunity.

Built in 2018, the nearly 5,000-square-foot house featured a mix of ultra-modern materials and harsh tones that felt cold and uninspiring. We completely reimagined the interiors, infusing each space with warmth and coziness.

Gray-tone floors were restained for white oak throughout the house, while textured wallpaper and bespoke light fixtures were chosen to add personality. Arched doorways and windows soften the home’s boxy silhouette, and the marble-clad kitchen and bathrooms exude luxury.

With sweeping views of Hollywood Hills and an expansive outdoor area, the home serves as an inviting venue for both celebratory gatherings and life’s more intimate moments.
